متن کاملLattice location and stability of implanted Cu in ZnO
The lattice location of copper in single-crystalline zinc oxide was studied by means of the emission channeling technique. Following 60-keV room-temperature implantation at a fluence of 2.3310 cm, the angular distribution of b particles emitted by the radioactive isotope Cu was measured by a position-sensitive detector. The b emission patterns give direct evidence that in the as-implanted state...
متن کاملLATTICE SITES OF ION IMPLANTED Cu ATOMS IN DIAMOND
Radioactive Cu atoms were accelerated to 60 keV at the online isotope separator ISOLDE at CERN, and implanted into a type IIa natural diamond sample to a dose of 2 x 10 cm. The channeling of β particles and conversion electrons emitted in the decay of Cu and Zn*, respectively, were monitored about the three major axial directions with a two dimensional position-sensitive detector. The electron ...
متن کاملPreparation, Characterization and Photocatalytic Activity of Ag-Cd-ZnO and Ag-Cu-ZnO Nanostructures
In this study, ZnO nanopowders and ZnO doped with metals (Cu , Ag- doped ZnO) and (Cd, Ag- doped ZnO) were synthesized by the sol-gel method in order to investigation on the codoping effect on the band gap and photocatalytic activity of ZnO. The synthesized samples are characterized by IR spectroscopy technique. Moreover, the absorption coefficients of the ZnO, Ag-Cd-ZnO and Ag-Cu-ZnO were anal...
متن کاملLattice location of implanted Ag in Si
The lattice location of implanted silver in Si was studied by means of the emission channeling technique. Following 60 keV room temperature implantation of radioactive Ag at a dose of 2-3×10 cm, we identify around 30% of Ag on near-substitutional sites (≈0.45 Å from ideal S-sites). Upon annealing at 200-300°C, the fraction on near-S sites reaches a maximum around 60-80%. For higher annealing te...
